getting audiophilic!
Just got some bad news yesterday, I won't be getting my commission from PC FAIR till end of June. What the heck right? its been 2 months already and I haven't been fully paid! How stupid. Argghhh...
So this means I'll have to wait for another month till I can get my headphone amp. ONE MONTH.. I've been intensively researching on which and what is more worth buying, and the final verdict is the Ibasso D2 Boa. This amp will actually blow my budget twice with some spare(RM550++). I figured I won't be changing amps as often as changing headphones, so might as well get a good one.
Frankly speaking, I do have enough fundings now to buy the amp, but after doing so will leave me without a single penny to survive. I'll have to rely on cheese+crackers for a month! So should I?? I'm aiming for my next pair of cans, Grado SR60 which will cost another bunch of paychecks. :( why am I poor???
I when to test out LifeImpact's new portable sound system in church just now, the Alto OEX 900. At first glance, it looks like a Star Trek space ship, or futuristic Japanese custom vans complete with its own hood ornament! Its GIGANTIC and HEAVY. Certainly bulky by all means.
It sounded OK. Just OK, neither good nor bad.. Probably I'm too used to have awesome sounding headphones slapped against my ears. Hahaha.. Well we'll have to see how it performs at the coming Life Game!
Speaking of which, I'll be gone for a total 8 days for the next 2 weeks for camp! YAY!!!!

Hey guys! Really sorry for the lack of updates I was busy for the past week. Don't you hate it when the holiday mood only comes at the end of the holiday? Arghh... Well, I did have a great week so fair enough. College starts on monday.............
So last week a basketball team from California Baptist University came for clinics and matches. Its actually a mission trip for them, so me and Amos was stuck with them for the whole 5 days they were here. Hahaha, I'm not complaining I really did had a blast with them.
We basically went around Penang playing with colleges and running clinics, above that we also went to temples, the beach, food and everything fun. They're a bunch of fun people! Hahaha miss you guys!

I worked last week too! I had two "clients" in need for some designing. One was my aunt back home, her studio is gonna host a photography workshop and need some flyers. I only helped in hope of getting fed well when I go back! HAHAHA Kidding!
Another was a organization I won't name for now. I'm to draw up a logo, its still work in progress so I'll tell you guys more later. Currently having fun with it though I have designed about 50+ different logos.
Today I've finally got my copy of UFC Undisputed 2009! So far its fun but very in dept as far as for the moves goes, definitely need some time to get used to it. Its fun beating the crap out of people sometimes.. The game is brutal. Hard to believe its a legalized sport!
So there's a little update from me just for the sake of updating.. Hahaha, back to the games!

paintcheck! paincheck!!
Paintball is still awesome!! A bunch of us LifeImpact people went for paintball yesterday. It was fun but tiring.. Probably most of us were campers thats why we got tired easily by waiting. Pictures on facebook. Anyone else wanna play pm me!
Oh by the way, I caught a paintball pallet. Yes I caught it and it was intact. Well not by my bare hands so to say but I used my arm in a way.
Was playing 2 on 1 with the instructor and he got me pinned down. One of his pallet scraped pass my marker then off my wrist and went straight into my sleeves. As you can see I was wearing long sleeves, I could feel the pallet rolling all the way down to my elbow and it was cold. Was really a wtheck moment..
